You won’t miss the bun at all with these delectable low-carb dogs. Sizzling thick-cut bacon, fresh green herbs, juicy tomatoes and crisp lettuce dress up Nathan’s Famous Skinless Beef Franks with all the flavors of a classic BLT sandwich.

Ingredients

  • 8 strips thick-cut Smithfield bacon
  • 1/2 cup avocado oil mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 bunch fresh chives, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 head romaine lettuce, leaves separated
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes, quartered
  • 1/2 small red onion, minced

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400°F. Line rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Wrap bacon tightly around each hot dog and spread evenly on prepared baking sheet. Bake 15 minutes or until bacon is crispy.

Step 2

Meanwhile, mix together mayonnaise, garlic, parsley and chives until combined.

Step 3

Set bacon wrapped hot dogs onto lettuce leaves. Drizzle with herbed mayonnaise and top with tomatoes and red onion.
