No 4th of July is complete without a flag and a Nathan’s Frank! Turn your cookout into an edible celebration with this fun twist on a hot dog platter. Make sure you snap a pic before serving - those stars and stripes will fly off the table when you’re serving up Nathan’s Beef Franks!

Ingredients

For the stars:
  • Star shaped cookie cutter
  • 16 oz (2 8 oz packs) of your favorite white cheese
  • Blue napkin
For the stripes:
  • 6 packs (5ct) Nathan’s Jumbo Restaurant Style Beef Hot Dogs
  • 4 packs (8 ct) Nathan’s Restaurant Style Hot Dog Buns
For the toppings:
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup whole-grain mustard
  • 1 cup yellow mustard
  • 1 cup dill relish
  • 5 green onions, sliced thin
  • 8 ounces thick-cut bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 1 head Boston bib lettuce, leaves separated

Preparation

Step 1

CUT an 8oz block of your favorite cheese in half along the width to get 12 stars using a cookie cutter; repeat for 18 total stars. Using a blue underlay, arrange the cheese stars in the top left corner of your board.

Step 2

Cook your hot dogs your favorite way. We suggest pan-fried with butter! See how to cook the perfect hot dog. Place hot dogs into buns. Lay out your hot dogs in 7 rows around the blue square.

Step 3

Don’t forget to have your favorite toppings ready to go!
