Nathan’s Famous offers unparalleled support to its franchisees from site consultation
and approval through the restaurant opening and on-going business consultation.
Site Selection: The Nathan’s Development team will review your site selections, offer
input, assist with lease negotiations and provide final approvals.
Site Development: Nathan’s provides Architectural and Construction Consultations.
We will work with your architect to provide a layout and design that fits your particular
site and menu. If requested, our experienced team will review your construction bids
and make on-site visits to your site during the construction process.
Training: Our three-week certification training program – Frankfurter University –
provides top-of-the-line hands-on and classroom training conducted by a dedicated,
certified training manager. The program is designed to provide training to those who
have previous management experience. Extended training is also available to those who
do not have restaurant experience. Our training program is open to all Nathan’s franchisees
and their management teams during the duration of the franchise agreement. We also
offer one-day executive training sessions for owners who will not be a part of the
day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
Pre-Opening Operations: Your franchise business consultant will
assist you and your management team with all pre-opening requirements,
staffing, food and supply orders,
on-site crew training, and developing a marketing plan. Your business
consultant will
stay with you through the restaurant opening and make frequent visits
during the first
several weeks of operations.
Marketing: Nathan’s Famous has a very unique marketing program
that allows Nathan’s operators to choose “off the shelf,” pre-approved
marketing programs that best fit their particular location. Our
Menu/Marketing Committee is comprised of franchise owners, corporate
operators and staff, as well as marketing consultants who pool their
expertise and resources to provide consistently innovative programs.
On-Going Business Consultation: Our Franchise Business
Consultants have years of experience in the QSR industry. The focus of
their responsibility is working with franchise owners and managers to
maximize sales and profits. Our Business Consultants are always
available via phone or email to answer any questions you may have. They
will make periodic announced and unannounced visits to your location to
conduct business consultations. Our Franchise Business Consultant will
become your most valuable resource at Nathan’s Famous.
